Deputy Minister of Trade, Dyah Roro Esti was a speaker at the Global Hydrogen Ecosystem Summit and Exhibition 2025 with the theme ‘Women & H2 Drive the Future’ held at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Jakarta, Thursday (17 Apr).
Deputy Minister of Trade Roro said that Indonesia can utilise hydrogen to become an important commodity. Hydrogen can be a clean and flexible energy source that has the potential to strengthen national energy security while opening up new opportunities in international trade.
She added that Indonesia has a number of strategic potentials in the hydrogen sector, as well as unique advantages that are not shared by other countries. Indonesia also has the opportunity to become a major partner in supplying clean energy through hydrogen.
On the occasion, Wamendag along with the Minister of Women’s Empowerment and Child Protection, Arifah Fauzi and visited and reviewed the exhibition booths at the location.
The exhibition was held for three days on 15-17 April 2025.
