The largest private bank, PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) recorded a net profit of IDR 14.1 trillion during the first quarter of 2025.
BBCA’s net profit in that period rose 9.8% compared to the same period the previous year, Rp 12.88 trillion.
The increase in BBCA’s net profit was in line with the annual increase in net interest income to Rp21.1 trillion in the first quarter of 2025.
BBCA disbursed loans of Rp941 trillion during the first quarter of this year, up 12.6% compared to the same period the previous year.
Market players have already responded positively to BBCA’s financial performance. This is reflected in the movement of its share price, which has risen 2.65% to Rp8,725/share by the close of this afternoon.
The transaction value was recorded at IDR 797.20 billion after 92.04 million shares were traded. The frequency that occurred was 30,757 times.
